The Moree AgTech Breakfast, held on 19th June 2024 at Social Co House, brought together 50 attendees from Moree's agricultural community. Hosted by UNE SRI in collaboration with Cicada Innovations, the event featured TED-style talks, interactive discussions, and Q&A sessions, focusing on the transformative power of AgTech in the agricultural sector. The event showcased how technology is revolutionising agriculture, improving efficiency, sustainability, and productivity.

Crystal McGregor, an expert pitch mentor, conducted an interactive workshop and individual mentoring sessions for Pitch2Grow Moree participants. Held on 8 April 2024, Crystal's visit from Port Macquarie provided a significant boost to the budding entrepreneurs refining their pitching skills.

In Moree, a gathering of local business leaders and HR professionals tackled one of the region’s biggest challenges: recruitment and retention. With support from the Federal Government Murray–Darling Basin Economic Development Program and the NSW Government Accelerating Regional Innovation Fund, the event saw insightful discussions led by industry experts and local employers on 18 December 2023.

Held at the Social Co House and funded by UNE SRI, this event marked the culmination of Term 4's business-focused educational activities led by Janeen Hunter and Reese Atchison from Moree Plains Shire Council Big Sky Library.

Our most recent SMART Session in Moree tackled the challenges faced by businesses dealing with unpredictable weather patterns and economic uncertainties. "Thriving in Challenging Times: Drought-Resilient Business Planning" was the focus of a 3.5-hour session led by business strategist Brooke Alexander on 22nd November.
