Young Entrepreneurs Inspire Community
On the evening of March 27th, 19 community members gathered at the Social Co House in Moree, NSW, for a networking event featuring young business leaders Kymberlee Clift and Reece Thrift.
The evening began with a selection of sushi, rice paper rolls, and drinks, setting the stage for networking and conversation. The highlight of the event was the engaging presentations by Kymberlee Clift and Reece Thrift, who shared their entrepreneurial journeys and future aspirations.
Kymberlee Clift captivated the audience with her story of founding and growing Bubble’n’Kick Swim School. She shared her experiences of being nominated for young business women awards and her accomplishments as an author, highlighting perseverance and innovation in the business world.
Reece Thrift followed with an equally compelling account of his rapid success with Thrift Grounds Maintenance. His passion and dedication were evident as he discussed the growth of his business and future plans for Thrift Vegetation Management. Both speakers exemplified the impact of hard work and vision in achieving business success.
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the speakers for their inspiring and honest presentations. The event was seen as an excellent opportunity to showcase the achievements of Moree's young business people and to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The event was made possible through the funding and support of the Federal Government Murray–Darling Basin Economic Development Program and the NSW Government Accelerating Regional Innovation Fund, in association with Moree Plains Shire Council. Their commitment to fostering local talent and supporting young entrepreneurs is invaluable to the community.
