There are two ways to join the program:
The Commonwealth funded places through the STARTUP HELP Program ($6360 as a loan) which is accelerating entrepreneurship and innovation. To be able to access the STARTUP HELP you are in the last year of your Bachelor’s Degree or enrolled in a postgraduate course or have finished study in the last three years.
Full-fee paying $6360 which means you pay up front for the cost of the course and you have five years professional work experience, or a Bachelors degree and two years experience.

Attendance at the Bootcamps is compulsory.
Bootcamp 1: October 24-26, 2024
Bootcamp 2: December 18-20, 2024 -
The program runs for 9 weeks with a mix of online learning and two intensive bootcamps in Armidale. The curriculum includes deep dive learning, working on a real project, networking with founders and innovators, and testing your ideas. Assessments are what you would do to land investment – some teamwork, a pitch, business canvas, and prototypes.

There is a tight curriculum covering foundational AI concepts, ethical considerations, strategic application of AI, and team-based project development. You will work with a pitch specialist, produce project proposals, industry analyses, AI solution prototypes, and investor pitches. Key topics include AI technologies, business model integration, and strategic innovation.

The $6360 course fee includes access to AI tools, study materials, networking events and College accommodation for the Bootcamps. The fee excludes the cost of travel to Armidale.

Successful completion of this course will allow you to articulate into existing Master courses across UNE, including the MBA, with the Graduate Certificate in AI Innovation providing a head start of up to one-third of your Masters.

As part of Startup Year Pilot Program, University of New England’s Graduate Certificate in AI Innovation provides a unique opportunity for students to pursue an innovation using AI capabilities. With AI now underpinning 80% of new business creation, this course is an innovation course, hands on and fast paced.
