And then you either freeze, fumble or ramble? Yeah, we’re fixing that.
Pitch2Grow is not about throwing you in front of a panel of investors, Shark Tank-style (although we do have a Shark Tank participant to mentor you!). It’s about getting clear on how to talk about your business in a way that sells. All without feeling salesy or awkward or fake.
Because whether you’re applying for a grant, wooing a new client, or convincing the bank to back your next move, you’re pitching. And the better you are at it, the more doors will open.

1️⃣ Express your interest to participate - whether you simply have an idea for a business, a new product or you’re already a business owner, this experience is for you.
2️⃣ Attend the Induction Workshop on March 11 and the Participant Support Session on March 18 - learn about the importance of pitching, access our pitching resources, hear from past participants and connect with your Pitch2Grow cohort.
3️⃣ Take part in the Pitch2Grow Pitching Masterclass on 29 March with Edwina Sharrock and learn everything you need to pitch with confidence.
Pitching Masterclass
When you take part in Pitch2Grow, you’ll get face-to-face coaching from someone who’s pitched on national television - our very own UNE SRI Founder Alumni and mentor, Edwina Sharrock (Yes, the one who revolutionised childbirth education with Birth Beat, landed an offer on Shark Tank, and was the 2021 Cartier Women’s Initiative Oceania fellow, amongst many other accolades).
At the Pitch Masterclass Edwina will walk you through:
✨ How to tell your business story - without losing people in the details.
✨ Building your pitch deck using a simple + proven framework (so, bring your laptop!)
✨ What makes a pitch work (hint: it’s not just confidence).
✨ How to sell your idea to anyone - whether it’s a panel of judges, an investor, or your next dream client.
You’ll also get access to aa one-on-one online pitch mentoring and feedback session from Edwina before the main event, helping you to feel prepared, confident, and READY for Pitch2Grow.
