SimpliMove Wins Technology in Health Award
We are delighted to announce that SimpliMove, one of our UNE SRI founders, has been named a Joint Winner in the Technology in Health category at the 2024 Primary Care Quality and Innovation Awards.
Organised by the Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN, this event recognises outstanding contributions to healthcare through innovative technological solutions.
Founded by sisters Deborah and Sandra Hunter, SimpliMove is a pioneering digital health platform dedicated to improving the health and well-being of middle-aged and older adults. The platform offers a range of services including exercise programs, physiotherapy, exercise physiology telehealth, and health blogs.
SimpliMove is particularly focused on serving individuals in regional, rural, and remote areas, where access to allied health services can be limited and the prevalence of chronic diseases is higher. Deborah Hunter, a passionate physiotherapist, accepted the award on behalf of SimpliMove at the ceremony.
