Scorched sets scene for ongoing impact

Scorched was a project for young people in the New England passionate about solving real challenges associated with impacts of bushfire and climate variability to build business and economic resilience.

Over 12 months, through extensive engagement and via a broad program of activity, Scorched generated meaningful outputs and outcomes, and has set the scene for ongoing impact.

This video showcases the importance of learning the methodology for growing solutions to challenges in the midst of climate variability.  The Scorched project, delivered through the UNE SMART Region Incubator has involved over 500 people over the last 2 years.  This video was designed to inspire the next generation founder to venture with the UNE SMART Region Incubator community to grow solutions in community.

Scorched was proudly funded by NSW and Commonwealth Government through a BCRRF grant and delivered by the UNE SMART Region Incubator.
