LEVERAGE 2023 Session One

On May 2023, 36 entrepreneurs from various organisations, ranging from start-ups to established businesses, came together in Tamworth for the launch of the 2023 Entrepreneurs Leverage Program.

Led by expert-in-residence Mandy Walker, Leverage is not just any ordinary coaching experience. It is a combination of strategic business education covering aspects such as cash flow, leverage, profit, and loss, and wealth creation. It also covers personal mindset transformation designed to reignite the participants' purpose, confidence, and self-belief.

With a proven track record, Mandy has successfully helped businesses save time, energy and money by avoiding costly mistakes, while also significantly accelerating their growth. For the past decade, she has been developing high-impact growth programs that support regional entrepreneurs, start-ups, and businesses in mastering business growth.

Mandy's coaching style is described as genuine, direct, clear, and well-structured, with just the right degree of directness and accountability for achieving results and gaining critical insights.

The initial four-day immersion was transformative, with participants engaging in discussions, interactive activities, and brainstorming sessions to help cement learnings and build connections.

Participants also played the now infamous bike-assembly game, which saw them assemble and re-assemble different bikes for time, in teams. At first, the exercise seemed simple, but teams quickly realised the essential role that effective communication, teamwork and leadership play in completing projects.

The Leverage cohort will continue to offer unparalleled support to the participants over the coming 12 months, with regular check-ins, and buddy accountability groups. Each participant is also required to submit a 90-day plan to Mandy one week after the completion of the face-to-face portion, ensuring they’re putting their learnings into action.
