Master Your Mindset

Our final SMART Session for 2023/24, "Master Your Mindset," hosted by Edwina Sharrock, founder of Birth Beat, was the perfect finish to an incredible series of events.

Hosted on Wednesday 12th June, the Master Your Mindset session saw a wonderful mix of business owners, UNE students, and UNE staff coming together to learn how to harness the potential of their greatest asset – themselves.

Event Highlights:

Edwina guided the session with great consideration for everyone in the room, asking participants about their needs, their biggest challenges related to mindset, and what they hoped to gain from the session. This personalised approach ensured that the session was beautifully tailored to suit the diverse group present.

  • Optimising Productivity: The session offered invaluable methods for managing time, energy, and resources effectively to enhance productivity and achieve goals.

  • Building Resilience: Participants learned new techniques for managing stress, building resilience, and maintaining balance, essential skills for entrepreneurs who often juggle multiple roles.

  • Prioritising Self-Care: Edwina emphasised the importance of integrating self-care and well-being into daily routines to sustain long-term success and fulfilment.

  • Personal Development: Attendees were equipped with a virtual bookshelf of personal development techniques, tips, and tools to support ongoing growth and self-improvement.

Interactive and Inclusive

Edwina's no-filter, open-sharing approach, combined with her wealth of experience as a business leader, coach, and mentor, made the session highly engaging and insightful.

Her stories and examples resonated deeply, providing practical guidance that participants could immediately apply to their personal and professional lives.

The session's diverse mix of business owners, UNE students, and UNE staff created a rich environment for learning and networking.

Everyone left feeling re-energised and inspired, armed with the knowledge and tools to optimise performance, enhance well-being, and unlock their full potential.
