Leverage Reunion 2024: A Night of Reminiscing, Bonds, and Shared Triumphs

On February 29, 2024, the Tamworth Hotel courtyard buzzed with energy as Leverage alumni gathered for a special reunion. This event offered a chance for past participants of the 12-month business coaching program, led by Mandy Walker, to reconnect and share their journeys.

Throughout the evening, attendees reminisced about their experiences in the program, recalling team activities, intense discussions on business concepts, and the camaraderie they built. What started as a group of strangers had transformed into a network of supportive peers.

The reunion reignited the lively discussions characteristic of Leverage sessions, with topics ranging from leveraging resources and staffing to cash flow and personal growth. Beyond the professional conversations, many shared personal stories of transformation during their time in the program.

Laughter and joy filled the courtyard as alumni reconnected, sharing jokes and celebrating each other's successes. The evening also saw heartfelt moments, reflecting on the challenges overcome and the deep connections formed.

The gathering was a celebration of Leverage's impact on both personal and professional lives. It underscored that the program's success lies not just in the knowledge and strategies shared but also in the relationships and growth journeys of its participants.

The reunion was a testament to the lasting influence of Leverage on the UNE SMART Region Incubator community. Alumni left with renewed connections, a stronger network, and a shared commitment to future success.

Over 200 founders have participated in this 12-month program since 2018. An intensive, face to face and weekly accountability program has seen founders grow revenue, create jobs and lead! A huge congratulations to all those who have joined the program and made the change happen. Thankyou Department of Regional NSW for your funding support for this program in association with Tamworth Regional Council and the University of New England (AU).
