Ian Mason, UNE SRI Expert in Residence and Founder of the Future Leaders Network, will lead an Entrepreneurs Breakfast for NENW social enterprises.
The 'round table' conversation will include a focus on sustainability and social enterprise.
What are you struggling with as a social enterprise?
How might we grow the social enterprise network across the NENW to unlock potential?
How do we map social enterprise in the region?
Ian has significant experience working with social enterprises around the world, whether as a mentor, through his work at Sir Richard Branson's Virgin StartUp, as Entrepreneur-in-Residence for a number of social impact accelerators or through founding his own - Future Leaders Network. He's also currently raising for his own social impact investment fund.
Future Leaders Network is a U.K. based social enterprise, founded by Ian in 2016. The organisation aims to discover and develop the social, economic and political leaders of the future. It does this by delivering: leadership training programs, amazing personal and professional development opportunities and networking opportunities.
Join Ian and the SRI team for this roundtable discussion on the successes, struggles and challenges facing social enterprises and their founders. During the session, Ian will also share examples of successful social enterprises that he has encountered, taking a closer look at their business models and will spend some time talking about his own social enterprise, Future Leaders Network.
UNE SRI is excited to be a Community Hub for the upcoming Social Enterprise World Forum. This round table will be the beginning of ongoing conversation!
A light breakfast is included in this session.
This event is proudly funded by the Commonwealth and NSW Government in association with Armidale Regional Council and UNE SMART Region Incubator.
