Introduction to programming, CDMC workshop 2

  • NOVA 122 Faulkner Street Armidale, NSW, 2350 Australia (map)

During fortnightly workshops over 6 months, the Digital Creative Media Group will bring together a group of aspiring creatives focused on the digital creative industries. The goal is to create a thriving community of digital creatives and kickstart this industry in the New England area!

At workshop 2, creative practitioner and games programmer Brendan Mooney will give a talk about his long road into the games and entertainment industry. This is a story of taking the long way around, but how experiences in other fields have made him a better creative and team leader.

The workshop content will be an introduction to programming in C#, specifically aimed at the Unity game engine. This is a perfect “get started in programming” session designed to give participants an understanding of how to get started in games programming.
