Stringybark Ecological Pty Ltd is a small, unique, ecological consultancy business based in Armidale, NSW. We work with clients and the community to offer ethical and professional services to achieve the best environmental outcomes possible. Stringybark Ecological is a leader in ecological assessment, ecological restoration and management and training projects in northern NSW. We have extensive experience in designing, implementing and maintaining projects in this region. We work closely with specialist subcontractors to deliver a full range of services for our clients. With over 35 years’ experience in ecological assessment, revegetation and ecological restoration, we continue to work with farmers, businesses, government , industry and community groups. We are committed to seeing our projects through to completion to the satisfaction of our clients.
About David
David has 35 years’ experience working in the natural resource management area, as a botanist, ecologist, restoration practitioner, forester, knowledge broker, extension agent and project manager. This included 16 years working for Greening Australia, finishing up as the National Technical Capacity Manager responsible for technical development and training for all projects across Australia. He has also worked for Landcare, Border Rivers Gwydir CMA and North West LLS in recent years.
For most of his career David has specialised in communicating environmental science to land managers and landholders through direct engagement in projects, extension, and training. As project manager for the national extension projects Exchange and Florabank for Greening Australia, he has worked with leading professionals in the NRM sector, policy makers, researchers, government departments, community organisations and individuals across Australia.
