Founders celebrated in new publication, IMPACT 2023

The UNE SMART Region Incubator has published a beautiful document showcasing founders and the impact they have had on sustainable economic growth in the region.

Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall MP and Armidale Regional Council Mayor Sam Coupland joined founders and others from the UNE SRI community for an informal gathering at NOVA on 7 March to launch IMPACT 2023.

‘SRI Founders are literally inventing the future for regional NSW. They promise job growth and opportunity, but most importantly they prove to the next generation that sustainable economic growth comes out of new ideas’, Matthew Irwin, Chair of the UNE SRI Strategic Advisory Board.

Over the past 12 months, 70 SRI founders have created 146 jobs and generated $6.2m new investment into the New England North West. Over half the UNE SRI founders are women.
