The unstoppable Seasons of New England

Tara Toomey is the inspiring woman behind Seasons of New England and the Humble Cook, her own brand of delicious homemade food. Tara founded Seasons of New England in 2014 by staging a market, bringing local producers and artisans together, providing a fantastic day for the rest of us to enjoy what they have to offer. Based in Uralla, she draws high quality products, first and foremost from the New England Region.

Seasons of New England has become etched in thousands of calendars as a ‘must do’ weekend, but in the lead up to the March 2020 Expo, Tara could see things were going to be different.

“With COVID looming we built an alternate way of connecting patrons with local producers. Between pop-up shops and distributing thousands of hampers, Seasons of New England has continued to grow”.

March 2021 will see Seasons of New England as a browse and then “click and collect” Expo, where people can shop directly with the maker or though the Seasons of New England website, and then collect their purchases at the Uralla Showground between 9am and 4pm on Saturday 27th March.

With the air of a country Showground and beautiful product, this year when you arrive you will find a contactless collection point set up at the Pavilion. You can drive in, collect your purchases and then linger in Uralla with its fabulous shops, cafes and pubs. Join us at the Seasons of New England 2021!
