The Mental Health Innovation Challenge Ideas Collider Workshop is a unique opportunity for you to collaborate with a diverse group of thinkers and doers to brainstorm and develop new ideas for improving mental health in our region.
Whether you're a mental health practitioner, allied health professional, student or simply someone who would love to be part of making a positive change for our community, this is a great event to get a taste of what an innovation challenge is all about, before committing to a full-scale weekend challenge.
So, what is an Ideas Collider Workshop?
Think along the lines of 'Shark Tank in an Evening' - where you'll develop an idea - that could be a product, service, or process upgrade - that addresses the problem statements given on the night before sharing your idea in the form of a short pitch.
Come along and collaborate with a diverse group of thinkers and doers to brainstorm and develop new ideas for improving mental health services and outcomes in our community.
The workshop is designed to encourage collaboration and open communication between participants, making it an excellent platform to meet new people, share your thoughts, and gain valuable insights.
Participating in the Ideas Collider Workshop is not only a great taster for the Mental Health Innovation Challenge, it's also your opportunity to win, thanks to the PHN, a sponsored trip trip to Newcastle (return train tickets and accommodation) so that you can take part in the full-scale Innovation Challenge!
The challenge and associated events are a collaborative effort between the Hunter New England & Central Coast Primary Health Network, the University of Newcastle's Integrated Innovation Network and the UNE SMART Region Incubator.
