UNE Market Day, formerly known as 'Lifesaver Day’, is an essential part of student orientation week. It’s aimed at providing new students with their first impression of UNE and Armidale’s community.
Each year over 120 businesses, organizations, clubs and societies participate in Market Day. This year UNE SMART Regional Incubator is part of the line-up.
Visit our stall at Sport UNE between 3pm and 5.30pm. Meet with Armidale Regional Connector Esther Pronker, and Startup Activator Sewa Emojong.
The UNE SRI is open to student start-up founders. Whether you have an existing side-hustle, or playing around with an idea to start one, visit our stall and find out about our start-up programs, events, mentors and expert-in-residents.
Don’t forget to ask about our paid internship program www.unesri.com.au/internships
If you are interested in addressing real world challenges posed by bushfires or climate variability, ask Sewa how you can get involved in the Scorched project – steering change through entrepreneurship!
