The Homeschoolers of Moree Library Group have been hard at work learning about Business and Entrepreneurship. Throughout Term 4, they’ve applied their learnings to create some amazing products which will be showcased at their upcoming pop-up store at Social Co. House.
Come along and discover their unique and innovative products that have been developed using the UNE SRI Lean Canvas document as a guide.

Home-school Library Program – Business
The Moree Community Library offers a home-school program one a week to create an educational and community social space. The program is based on fun activities that will aid learning and socialising in a fun environment.
Term 4 Business is designed to teach the home-school students about the basic aspects of running a business and entrepreneurial skills. The students gain experience setting up and running a pop-up shop in a modern commercial business. Each week the students experience activities and tasks required to start a business.
These activities and tasks lead up to the pop-up shop at Social co House, funded by UNE SRI.
Providing exposure to diverse pathways to opening a business and different types of business. It could also develop the idea or vision of one day owning their own business. The outcome of this program is to provide the students with collaborative working, leadership skills, Innovative thinking, art and craft, planning and goal setting, strategic thinking, literacy and numeracy.
