Our region has a wealth of knowledge and experts willing to provide you with guidance and support for FREE, purely in order to see our business community thrive.
Our mentoring program is the perfect way to bounce some ideas around, hear their success stories and get those burning questions answered.
How does it work?
Our mentors set aside an hour to come along to The Exchange and meet with you for a cuppa to talk about your idea or your new business.
So far, our mentors include business owners operating in:
retail
building
hospitality
advertising
marketing / branding
graphic design
IT
automobile services (mechanic, serving of vehicles)
air-conditioning
agriculture
health & wellness
They’re there to answer your questions, help you to see new perspectives or opportunities and to navigate through any obstacles in your way.
Is your desired industry not mentioned above? No problem! Let us know what YOU need, and we’ll find the perfect mentor for you!
These mentoring morning teas are casual, relaxed, friendly and confidential.
No problem or question is too ‘silly’.
These mentors have been there before. They know how daunting and overwhelming and scary it can feel to chase a dream or become an expert in your industry. Whether you’re 18, 35 or 50 - don’t let these feelings get in the way of achieving what you want!

All sessions are 10-11am.

Once applications have been received, we will pair up mentors and mentees that either operate within the same industry or match up with another similar quality, interest or required skillset.
Some mentoring groups may be 1-1, others may be in small groups. You may have a few mentors during the 1 hour session or the one for the entire 60 minutes, it depends on numbers and availability of particular mentors on the day. Either way, you'll get a lot out of the different perspectives, experiences and skillsets!
All participants in this program (both mentors and mentees) are welcome to stay on and work from our shared coworking areas for FREE the day of the mentoring.
