Join us for Agmentation in Schools, a ground-breaking problem-solving innovation challenge designed for Year 10 and 11 students passionate about Design and Technology, iSTEM, Engineering, Science, Food Technology, Enterprise, Computing, Maths, and Agriculture.

 

What is Agmentation?

Agmentation is a dynamic innovation challenge where teams of 4-6 students dive into grassroots agricultural issues. Guided by AI and the latest in Agtech, students will collaborate to create cutting-edge solutions that could shape the future of food.

 

  • This exclusive event is open to Year 10 and 11 students with interests in:

    • Design and Technology

    • iSTEM

    • Engineering

    • Science

    • Food Technology

    • Enterprise

    • Computing

    • Maths

    • Agriculture

    • Morning tea and lunch provided

    • Certificates of participation for all students

    • An opportunity for winning teams to attend the Agtech Youth Innovation Summit at UNE SMART Farm on Tuesday, 24th September

    • 30 July - Moree Secondary School

    • 2 August - Armidale Secondary School

    • 8 August - Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School

    • 14 August - Narrabri High School

    This event is delivered by the UNE SMART Region Incubator with support from leading Agtech founders. Due to limited numbers per school, additional places will be offered based on availability.

    • Real-world skills development: Equip students with hands-on experience in solving tangible agricultural problems.

    • AI and technology exposure: Introduce students to AI applications within the agricultural sector.

    • Collaborative learning: Encourage teamwork and innovative thinking.
