Australian Agritech Ecosystem Survey to capture scale of agtech ecosystem

On Thursday 15 September the AusAgriTech Association hosted an ADVANCE AGRITECH event in Brisbane to launch the FINDEX Australian Agritech Ecosystem Survey, which will capture the scale of Australia’s agtech ecosystem. Other partners in delivering this survey include Agriculture Victoria and AUSTRADE.

UNE SRI Director Lou Conway attended the launch and noted that the mapping of agtech in Australia includes a number of agtech startups and scaleups in the New England North West.

The AusAgriTech Association is hosting an investor event in Sydney in November this year attracting national and international investors keen to support the growth of technology-enabled primary industries.

The UNE SRI continues to champion the development of agtech solutions that create value for climate adaptive agricultural production.  The development of the Australian network is also important to the developing a broader ecosystem to support innovative solutions.
